Private day trips start from about $40 per person for groups of up to 6. Multi-day tours are quoted for each trip: the vehicle and driver cost the same whatever the group size, so the more of you travel, the less each person pays, and the hotel level and season also count. Send your dates and group size and we reply with an exact price within 24 hours; every quote lists exactly what is and is not included.

Two to four days is enough for a Sahara trip from Marrakech or Fes. One week covers the classic loop: two imperial cities, Chefchaouen, a night in the Sahara and Marrakech. With 10 days or more you can add the coast or the Atlas Mountains at a slower pace.

Spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) are the most comfortable months. Summer is very hot inland and desert nights are cold in winter.

Anywhere in Morocco. Most guests start in Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca, Tangier or Agadir, or join us in Merzouga in the desert, with pickup at the airport or your hotel. We can also meet the ferry from Spain.

Most guests plan 2 to 6 months ahead. For October to April, and for luxury desert camps, earlier is better.
