Sahara Desert Tours
Our office is in Merzouga, at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes, so the desert is home ground for us. Merzouga is about 9 hours’ drive from Marrakech, so we split the road over 3 or 4 days with stops at Ait Ben Haddou and the Dades Valley. Zagora is closer, which makes it the 2-day option.

Multi-day tours are quoted for each trip: the vehicle and driver cost the same whatever the group size, so the more of you travel, the less each person pays, and the hotel level and season also count. Send your dates and group size and we reply with an exact price within 24 hours; every quote lists exactly what is and is not included.
Can you create custom tours in Morocco?
Yes. Every tour we run is private and tailor-made; the itineraries on this site are starting points. Change the order, add nights or swap cities, and we reprice the trip for you.
When is the best time for a Morocco tour?
Spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) are the most comfortable months. Summer is very hot inland and desert nights are cold in winter.
Where do your private tours start?
Anywhere in Morocco. Most guests start in Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca, Tangier or Agadir, or join us in Merzouga in the desert, with pickup at the airport or your hotel. We can also meet the ferry from Spain.
Are these private guided tours or small group tours?
Private only. We do not run shared group tours; your vehicle, driver and guides are for your party alone.
How far ahead should we book?
Most guests plan 2 to 6 months ahead. For October to April, and for luxury desert camps, earlier is better.
