We are a local team based in Merzouga, so the desert is our home ground. What Luxury Means on Our Tours
Luxury in Morocco is less about marble than about the right room in the right place, and the time to enjoy it. At this level we plan four things differently.
Riads and kasbah hotels
In Fes and Marrakech you stay in boutique riads inside the medina: old courtyard houses turned into small hotels, often with only a handful of rooms, a roof terrace, and sometimes a plunge pool or hammam. In the south, the nights are in kasbah hotels among the palms, as at Skoura. We send the options for your dates with the quote, and you choose.
A luxury camp in the dunes
In Erg Chebbi we book a tent at a luxury camp, and confirm the exact tent and its facilities with your quote. Two nights at camp, as on our luxury Sahara desert tour, give you a full day in the dunes. Our guide to luxury desert camps explains the choices.
Your own driver and vehicle
An air-conditioned 4×4 or minivan sized for your group, with an English-speaking driver who stays with you from the first day to the last. A licensed local guide for the medinas of Fes and Marrakech can be added on request.
A slower pace
We keep drive days short, leave afternoons free, and add a second night wherever a place deserves it.
Planning a Luxury Trip to Morocco
Three decisions shape a luxury trip: when you go, how long you stay, and where you slow down.
When to go
March to May and September to November bring warm days in the cities and mild nights in the desert. The smallest riads fill early in these months, so write to us as soon as you have dates. In winter the medinas are quieter and the desert nights cold, so bring warm layers; July and August are hot inland, and better spent in the Atlas and on the coast.
How many days
Five days is enough for a luxury desert trip from Marrakech. With 8 to 10 days you add Fes, or the coast at Essaouira; with two weeks, the full loop from Tangier at an unhurried pace.
Where to add a night
A second night in the dunes, an extra day in Fes with a guide, or two slow days in Essaouira at the end make the biggest difference. Tell us what matters most and we build the route around it.
