Moroccotourspackage is a Morocco tour company based in Merzouga, at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Since 2016 we have planned private, tailor-made trips across the country: your own driver, hotels, riads and a desert camp chosen for your dates, and never a shared group tour.
You book directly with us, with no agency in between, and we answer every trip request ourselves within 24 hours. From Merzouga, our drivers travel the whole of Morocco, so your trip can start wherever you land.

A Tour Company from the Sahara
Our office is in Ksar Hassi Labied, a village at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes a few kilometers north of Merzouga, in the province of Errachidia.
Why that matters
For many tour companies, the desert is one stop on a long route, run from a city far away. For us it is home. We know the dunes in every season, the tracks between the villages and the camps at the edge of the sand, and we plan the desert part of your trip from where it happens.
But the whole country
Our drivers leave Merzouga to meet travelers in Marrakech, Casablanca, Fes and Tangier, and they know the imperial cities, the Atlas passes and the coast as well as the Sahara. A trip with us can include the desert or skip it entirely.
Since 2016
We started planning private trips in 2016, and private trips are still all we do. Every tour is built for one group: a couple, a family, a few friends.
What We Do

- Sahara desert tours of 2 to 5 days from Marrakech and Fes, with a night at a desert camp.
- Private day trips from Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca and Tangier, from about $40 per person.
- City tours of Marrakech, Fes and Casablanca with a licensed local guide.
- A private driver for a day or a whole trip, and airport transfers.
- Travel styles: luxury tours, family tours and honeymoons.
What we do not do: shared group tours. You will never share the car with strangers.
How We Work
You tell us what you want
Your dates, where you land, how many of you there are and what you would like to see. The trip request form takes about three minutes, or send us a message on WhatsApp.
We reply within 24 hours
With a day-by-day plan, the hotels, riads and camp we suggest for your dates, and an exact price. Then we change it until it fits: more days, fewer hours in the car, a better hotel, a different starting city.
Honest prices
We do not publish a price for our multi-day tours, because it depends on how many of you there are, the hotel level you choose and the season. The cost of the car and driver is shared by your group, so it falls per person as the group grows. You get the real figure for your trip, not a teaser.
We only promise what we can confirm
Hotels and camps change with the season and availability, so we do not advertise a particular property before we know your dates. Your quote names the places we have confirmed for you.
One driver, the whole trip
The same English-speaking driver/guide meets you on day one and stays with you to the last drop-off.
Simple payment
A deposit confirms your booking (€100 for most tours, 30% of the price for a day trip or transfer), and the balance is usually paid in cash on the first day. Our booking, payment and cancellation policy sets out the details.
Booking with a Local Morocco Travel Agency
Many Morocco tours sold abroad are run on the ground by a local company like ours. When you book with us directly, you talk to the people who plan and run your trip.
No middleman
There is no agency between you and your driver, and no one else taking a share of the price.
Local knowledge
We know which roads are slow in winter, when the Tizi n’Tichka pass may close for snow, which riads are easy to reach by car, and how long the drive to the dunes really takes.

Our drivers are English-speaking driver/guides who know the whole country. In the medinas, licensed local guides take over.

Is Moroccotourspackage a Moroccan company?
Yes. We are a local tour company based in Merzouga, in the south-east of Morocco, and have planned private trips since 2016.

Do you run group tours?
