What Your Private Driver Does
Your driver is with you from the first pickup to the last drop-off, and it is the same person every day.
Drives, and knows the road
The Tizi n’Tichka pass over the High Atlas, the desert roads to Merzouga, the mountain lanes of the Rif: your driver knows where the road is slow, where to stop for fuel and where the views are.
Suggests the stops
Kasbahs, viewpoints, a village market, a café with a good tagine for lunch. Stops are flexible: say the word and the car pulls over.
Times the day
Your driver plans each day around the light and the heat: early starts in summer, arriving at Ait Ben Haddou or the dunes when they look their best, and long drives broken up so no one gets tired.

Is a private driver the same as a tour guide?
Your driver is a driver/guide: they speak English, explain the places on the way and suggest stops. In the old medinas and at some sites, a licensed local guide walks with you instead; we arrange one on request.
